Geelong Business Club Constitution and Annual General Meetings
The GBC constitution, originally drafted with the establishment of the club in 1961 was designed exclusively for a gentleman’s business club. In more recent times, the Constitution has been updated to an inclusive model to:
- embrace and respect inclusivity, equity and diversity (as reflected in its change of name from the ‘Geelong Businessmens Club’ to the ‘Geelong Business Club’)
- include changes in meeting venue
- amend conditions of membership
The AGM is held each year immediately prior to the August Dinner Meeting.
This year’s AGM was held on August 11th at 5.30pm at Truffleduck, 66 Hyland Street, Fyansford.
