About Geelong Business Club

The Geelong Businessmen’s Club was established in 1961 by a group of influential business people for the benefit of senior executives and business leaders in the Geelong region.

In 2002 the club elected to change the name from Geelong Businessmen’s Club to Geelong Business Club to encourage senior business woman to join.

In 2021 the club celebrated 60 years of serving the Geelong Business Community and continues strongly to this day.

The club is administered by a volunteer committee and has a rotation policy for an annual President. The insight and commitment of these volunteers has helped ensure that the Geelong Business Club has remained an important part of the Geelong community.

Members meet on the second Monday of each month from February to December for a monthly dinner meeting. The Geelong Business Club engages high profile speakers on a variety of topics who present at our dinner meetings.  These people include management experts, business people, politicians, and people from the arts, sport, entertainment and the community to educate and entertain our members.

Our Club provides a regular forum for business leaders, senior executives and professionals within the Geelong region to meet and build strong relationships.

Our Club is not a place to sell, but rather to seek to learn, individually and professionally, through sharing lived experiences, through expanded connections and through engagement with industry leaders.
