GBC OCTOBER 9th DINNER MEETING with PROFESSOR IAIN MARTIN, Vice-Chancellor and President, Deakin University

A very warm welcome to our new members and guests who are joining us to enjoy the comradery of our wonderful Club which is embracing its 62nd year, connecting, supporting, mentoring and actively seeking the best for our members, our community, and for our region.

As Geelong’s oldest business association, our Club and its members have been proudly supporting the local business community since 1961, and  being an active Club member allows you to meet new and like-minded senior business owners and executives who live or work in our region, and share similar experiences and interests. It’s that sense of welcome and belonging that keeps club members coming back year after year and builds the inimitable spirit and strength of the Geelong Business Club.

It is with that in mind that we remind and encourage all of our members to reap the full value and benefits of their membership by attending as many of the subsidised Club dinners throughout the year as is possible.  As Club members, this is your opportunity to join with your guests and other business professionals from our region while enjoying –

Last month we welcomed Mark Bunn, renowned wellbeing expert, a high-energy international speaker, best-selling author and former AFL player to share with us how to enjoy happier, healthier, and higher performing lives.

This month we are thrilled to have Professor Iain Martin, Vice-Chancellor and President of Deakin University, an accomplished physician, surgeon and visionary academic leader, join us to share how education and research is shaping the future of Geelong and Victoria.
