About the Speaker – Brett Winter, CEO GeelongPort

Brett Winter has over 25 years of experience in the maritime and logistics sector.  His career began at Toyota Australia’s export program before moving into various supply chain management roles. Since joining Patrick in 2007, Brett has held senior positions across business development, transport, stevedoring, and port facilities management.

As CEO of GeelongPort, Brett leads one of Australia’s most sustainable and fastest-growing ports, overseeing:

  • The safe and efficient handling of over 13 million tonnes of product annually;
  • Growth of a diversified customer base, including the Boral facility and the Spirit of Tasmania precinct;
  • A forward-looking infrastructure development strategy supporting Victoria’s largest pure bulk port; and
  • A strong focus on values-based leadership, team development, and sustainable growth

Brett is also a Director of G21 and Ports Australia, actively shaping the future of regional development and the maritime industry.
