Presidents Message May 2019

Dear Members,

The country goes to the poles in May to elect a federal parliament. Whatever your preference or political persuasion, let’s hope for the benefit of all constituents the result brings stability and prosperity for our great nation.

At the April Meeting our guest speaker Braith Cox, chief commercial officer of the Geelong Football Club provided a comprehensive economic report on the status of the Geelong Football Club and the economic benefits to the region. Certainly captured the audience’s attention based on the large volume of questions at the end of Braith’s address.

May is a different theme with members having the opportunity to hear about “Delivering Better Lives” a world-wide philanthropic organization working in disadvantaged communities.
